Cleaing out my desk at Yale Technology & Planning, I came across some index cards of ideas we didn't get a chance to implement for YaleInfo. We used index cards taped to a door in priority order for project management some of the time. Pretty effective and concrete, with the ability to take a card, split cards, merge cards, hand cards -- a lot like Extreme Programming story cards.
Anyway, here are some of the cards I'm throwing out as a I tidy up and move on:
* Put sitemap in Guest header (theme stylesheet)
* Hover help for tabs
* Central backup channel
* Meeting maker basic channel
* most recent effors overall / error report
* ITS status with limit on number of items (display most recent 4 items) (implement by adding max feature to RSS)
* How to maintain Yale College Calendar channel
* Test DC on https URLs
* OPA wsbapp event feeds

central backup channel?
Yale has an administrative (staff) desktop backup system with a web representation for reporting on the success or failure of backup jobs, available backup quota, etc. The thought was to create a simple uPortal channel that would report on the status of recent backup jobs for the logged in user. A quickie XML/XSLT channel would do the trick.
